A platform that aggregates live betting lines across many sportsbooks so bettors can line-shop for the best price across NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and more. I built and scaled the web app and the companion React Native / Expo mobile app: GraphQL/Apollo data layer, subscriptions via RevenueCat, attribution via AppsFlyer, push notifications, deep linking, analytics and AWS deployment.

I'm Jose, a software engineer from Puntarenas, Costa Rica. I love programming, learning new things and solving problems — that curiosity is what pulls me into every project. I've spent 10+ years building production web and mobile apps, and today I lead engineering on large-scale platforms while shipping my own product on the side.

AI is part of my daily workflow — Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, GPT and Gemini for debugging, refactoring, code review and prototyping — always with architecture, scalability and code quality at the center.

Away from the keyboard you'll usually find me outdoors: at the beach, camping, hiking, flying my drone, or on the road discovering new places. I'm into cars and mechanics, I used to skate, and my favorite animal is the sloth.
